There is a dedicated prescription line for your use in requesting refills. Please call (727) 892-4200 and follow the prompts to access the prescription line. Please allow 2 days for routine refills or to request antibiotics prior to dental or surgical appointments.
Remember the doctor does not have access to the
medical record at night or on weekends so prescription requests must be
handled during routine business hours.
We will need basic information to process your request:
- Your child's name with correct spelling
- Date of birth
- Weight
- Any allergies your child might have
- The phone number of your pharmacy
- State clearly the drug you are requesting and the amount you give and how often you give the drug
Prescriptions are routinely called in by the end
of the day, but please allow 2 days for this process to be completed,
in case there are difficulties. Be aware that preparing some liquid or
compounded medicines may take an additional day or two.
